Bayside clubs are currently experiencing incredible growth in participation levels for soccer at all ages. 

“For example,” says Joe Mottola, President of Beaumaris Soccer Club, “We have over 600 children, boys and girls, aged from 4 to 16 years old playing in sub-junior and junior competitions each Saturday...”

At the Annual General Meeting of Beaumaris Cricket Club on Wednesday, 4th June, 2008, Tony Mellick was re-elected as President and Grant Earney as Vice President for 2008-2009.

The Oak Street Oval upgrade has gone to plan and was ready for Round1 of the cricket season. Because Council has stated that it cannot help with funding for the relocation of nets, the Cricket Club is looking into other ways of achieving this which may involve sponsorship and working bees...
