Hobbies and Special Interest

Girl Guides has been a proud tradition in Beaumaris since the 1950's and the worldwide Guiding movement is about to turn 100 years in January 2010.
Guiding is the largest women's organisation in the world and it is still alive and well here in Beaumaris. The world has changed in a century, but the values that Girl Guides is based on, have not. Girls are mentored by qualified leaders and are encouraged to develop lifelong skills.
Located in Martin Street, Beaumaris.
We currently have three units and cover the age span of 7 to 18 years.

DO YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER?
Parenting teenage girls can be challenging.
If your daughter is aged 10-12 years, then you many consider Guiding as an activity for her to become involved in now. Teenage girls in Guides have a safe environment where they develop deep friendships, are encouraged to make responsible decisions and learn how to organise their valuable time.
